I was a first-time patient of Dr Hamparian today and I am so thankful for the level of care she provided. She truly made a genuine effort to calm my nerves, reassuring me that I had nothing to worry about. What I appreciated most was how thorough she was in explaining her findings. She took the time to go over every detail, ensuring I fully understood what was happening with my eyes. I had a lot of questions, and she patiently answered every single one, never making me feel rushed or like I was asking too much. Dr Hamparian truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed. I highly recommend her and am looking forward to our follow-up visit 🙂

Ok so let me start off by saying that my father has gone there a few times and he was rather happy, so I'm not sure how they managed to screw up so royally this time around.
A few weeks ago my father had an infection in his eye, similar to a stye, he went to her, and since she doesn't t take our insurance he went as a cash patient, paid $300+ for her to poke at it and say " the infection is coming out on its own - so put on a hot compress and it doesn't go away in about two weeks, come back and I'll cut and remove it" to me that was already ridiculous but my father trusted her and waited... about 2/3 weeks later we went back again because as you guessed it didn't come out on its own, again as a cash patient , paid another $400+ and she cut it this time, poked around in it and said that it used to come out and now it's not coming out, sorry I can't take it out, his eye is now bruised and swollen inevitably from the procedure that yielded no results. So basically he paid over $700 for her to do absolutely nothing and send him on his way, just please be careful and don't just pay to have nothing done and possibly be in worse shape than you were when you went originally.

Amazing doctor ! My mom has been hospitalized for 15 days, and the hospital infectious disease specialist couldn’t figure my mom’s infection. Dr. Hamparian figured my mom’s infection right away. She is the best . She is very caring, and knowledgable. I love her so much !

A unique eye care center. In its third year at this new location, Dr. Hamparian offers a different approach to patient care and treatment of their sight.

The place is accessible with ample dedicated parking.

Upon your arrival, the welcoming staff; Liliya and Lana will take care of all the forms. Nothing for you to do! The wait time to be taken in is not even ten minutes.

Lusine or Nune will take you on for series of tests, checking your glasses, measuring various critical depths. Asking questions about your general health and eye sight.

By the time, you seat in and waiting for the Dr. to do her in depth readout and explaination of all that took place and the thorough examination that she will perform next, you'd feel a true journey of knowing much more about the health of your eyes, issues, concerns, and remedies.

In all, you will be pleasantly surprised as to the depth and breath of what just took place.

Graduate of Albany Medical College and seventeen years in practice, makes this experience unique and worth while.

Hermine, surgery coordinator, performs the post OP and you are done for an extraordinary visit.

The staff here are very caring and humble. They reach out to your expectations at no time.

For frames and eye glasses, Michael adds another layer of comfort and service. The complemerty services here was so vivid and evident while I was visiting.

New glasses were picked up with much satisfaction exhabited and care that are openly appreciated by the dozen patients during my visit which was my second one in span of four weeks.

This time I had to echo out what took place in both visits. The norms are diffrent here so are the rendered care.

Currently sitting in the office an hour and 40 minutes after having my eye dilated, after being told it would be 20 minutes. I wandered around and found the receptionist who told me they were waiting on the doctor who was performing surgery. Why would they have dilated my eyes without a doctor available to complete my appointment? I had an hour drive to get here. Not cool!
