Dr. Baney came by every morning at Advent Hospital Altamonte and informed me what staff and hospital would be doing that day for me. Also enjoyed informal chit chat. Great bedside manner!

5/22/20: The experience with Nandlall Baney P MD has led us to the decision to report him to the AMA, and the Board of Directors at Ocoee's Health Central.
A patient who suffers from Parkinson and dementia was admitted suffering severe side effects from a new medication that causes hallucinations, paranoia, and violent behavior. After restraints had to used and a new medication was not proven positive this Dr. ordered the patient discharge. The word "adamantly" was quoted by a shift nurse. He refused to speak to family, and never returned calls. Only after making several calls to Hospital social workers, nurses, and other sources is when the discharge was taken off the table.
The initial decision to discharge was not only nonsensical, but outside if the 24hr threshold that hospitals follow to discharge a patient that can cause harm to themselves or others. After an entire day this man ignored us and never spoke to family members. He will be reported to the highest levels of his practice for his irresponsible and careless actions.
