This couple deserves all of the praise in the world for what they do and how they treat visitors!

We booked a tour time for a Tuesday evening and ended up being the only ones. We received 1:1 attention, a full tour of the grounds, a chance to pick our own lavender, and an education into the many ways to harvest/use lavender for $10 was just incredible.

These are just the kindest people I’ve met here — and that’s a tough competition in Paso, where everyone is warm! Please give them a try.

Wonderful tour of the lavender farm with the friendly and sweet owners. Highly recommend visiting the farm and exploring all that is lavender, especially in the farm store🪻The farm made honey 🍯 and lavender lemonade were both yummy!

We could not recommend a stay at Hambly Farm through Harvest Host more! Gina made us feel at home and we really love the idea of supporting a small family owned business. We bought some lovely bath salts, bath bombs, lip balm and lavender gelato from the shop. The complimentary wine tasting at Vino Vargas down the street was a treat as well. We were the only guests the night we stayed and had the perfect sunset to cap off our day of wine tasting. We look forward to returning to this beautiful hidden gem in the near future.

Magical place! We did the u-pick lavender harvesting and enjoyed the humming of bees, birds singing, and nice breeze on the hilltop. Very tranquil relaxing spot. Nice gift shop and goats that you can feed!

Hambly Farms was a reminder for how lucky I am to be in California. You’d think LA or SF when visiting the state, but there’s so much to see in between—including this farm! Make sure to visit Hambly Farms when driving SF-LA, or better yet just visit San Luis Obispo county! Not only did it have mesmerizing views… but it was also fun, informative, and such a great experience. The owners of the farm live by their philosophy— creating numerous all natural great products! They gave a lovely tour explaining the different kinds and uses of lavenders. They also have animals you can pet, feed and spend time with. We were given baskets and scissors to harvest our own bouquets. Ended by checking out their goods and products, and ended my visit there with their lavender ice cream to beat the heat! Hambly farms is definitely a hidden gem.

Hambly farms is definitely a hidden gem. A great escape from the busy city life with its calming scent and marvelous views. 💜

We stayed at Hambly Farms through the Harvest Host program... this farm is outstanding! Nicest owners who love sharing what they do. Their farm store is packed full of lavender everything. Their lavender-vanilla room spray is seriously the best I have ever smelled. They have a petting zoo with the cutest goats, chickens and ducks. It is just far enough off I5 to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country but easy on and off. The views are breathtaking. We cannot wait for our next stay here! Oh, and they do online shopping and shipping!

Such a relaxing and educational experience. The farm is well loved and the family is passionate about sharing their knowledge. The farm store has thoughtful homemade lavender products and be sure to stop and see the friendly farm animals before you leave. The U-Pick experience also allowed us to pick and harvest our own lavender bundles from the fields!
