I had been treating with Dr. Sison since I left my abusive marriage in 2016. I was diagnosed with severe PTSD and over the last few years I have been unable to function properly and hold a job with insurance consistently. I have always gone back to Dr. Sison and even paid out of pocket when I did not have insurance and he was wonderful.

I now need to file disability because my PTSD is so bad I am unable to leave my house and see people most days. When I FINALLY get insurance that will be effective in January, I call Dr. Sison to begin treating again. Instead of being a medical professional and understanding of one of his loyal patients severely struggling to get by in life, he DENIES me treatment and an appointment. Also knowing I have to file disability.

Needless to say, this is very disappointing for a doctor who is supposed to specialize in treating individuals with mental issues, I will be seeking damages for the additional hardship and trauma as well as medical malpractice as a mental health professional especially if this causes injury to my disability case. He declined to even speak with me showing my relationship with a doctor I trusted was a complete sham.

Absolutely appalling after being a loyal patient and always speaking so highly of him. His staff was always wonderful and still is; however, Dr. Sison has displayed behavior that is not only unprofessional and obtuse to his obligation as a doctor, but also harmful and negligent to my health and to my need for approval for disability benefits.

We LOVE Dr. Sison and his staff!! Dr. Sison listens closely every visit! We never feel rushed during an appointment. He cares about his patients and wants them to do well. He gives realistic suggestions on how to "work with" issues. His staff is amazing also! They have always been kind, caring and professional. I have a medical background and ONLY refer MD"s that I have researched, dealt with personally and who I believe are the very best!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sison.

Dr. Sison is thorough yet straight to the point which I enjoy. He is a psychiatrist, not a counselor so he should not be expected to do counseling. He gathers the information he needs, asks the right questions & discusses his professional opinion re: any diagnosis. I quite enjoy his "no nonsense" approach while still being able to maintain good rapport, at least with me. If you are looking for someone who listens, is thorough & makes appropriate medication choices, then Dr. Sison is a great option. If you're looking for someone to do talk therapy, a psychiatrist is not what you need.

Life changing! I was going to a different doctor and recently decided to go to Dr. Sison because I was unhappy. I am so happy I did. He spent time with me, listened to me, evaluated me, diagnosed me, and changed my meds. I feel great now and I have him to thank for it. He made me feel comfortable and understood. For the first time in a long time I feel hopeful and excited about life. I would highly recommend Dr. Sison to anyone.

I really respect how he took the time to speak with me, he is definitely one of the best doctors I’ve seen in a long time, and as a nurse I would recommend him to everyone who needs mental health care.

I had been enjoying going to see Doctor Sison for a long time, and then I had to go out of state for 4 months. I had called and told him this. That I would temporarily see another doctor up there. Anyway I'm back now and currently suffering from the worst panic attack of my life so I call up doc Sison and he decides to drop me as a patient. No help at all. I've called every single shrink in the area and none of them are taking new patients minus one Doctor who can't see me until January 23rd. So I'm stuck with no medication, a severe panic attack that's going on 5 days now. I can barely sleep. I've been catching 1 to 2 hours when I can manage to, until the attack hits me hard again... I've told them all this and was told tough luck... I cannot believe that Doctor sison is that cruel... I'm barely getting by here... Please don't go to this doctor. Please.

Can’t even call this person a doctor. He’s awful. He just dropped my friend as a patient out of nowhere. No decent human being is going to leave a patient with major depression and anxiety without his medication especially during the holiday season. I wish I could leave no stars. I understand you’re running a business but most people who call themselves doctors have some compassion. 👎👎👎
