I had a wonderful experience during my first appointment today. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient in managing patient flow. Dawn, at the reception, was very helpful in answering all my questions. Chloe, the medical assistant, was exceptionally kind and attentive. She carefully recorded my medical history for Dr. Chang. Subsequently, I met with Nurse Practitioner Cindy, who addressed all my concerns, prescribed the necessary medication, and provided referrals to the required specialists. I was deeply moved by the compassion demonstrated by every staff member I encountered. I was initially anxious about selecting the right doctor's office, but I am delighted with my choice.

I highly recommend Dr. Joyce Chang. You will not be disappointed.

I picked Dr. Chang from my insurance company website because I wanted a female doctor close to home. Today is my first visit as a new patient and I was a little concerned this morning when I saw her ratings on Google. However, when I came in, I found both the receptionist and the nurse before I saw the doctor to be very professional, courteous and pleasant. The wait was about 5-10 minutes each before I saw Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang is knowledgeable, kind and asked the right questions to make sure she understands all my medical situations. I will be coming here going forward.

I've been with Dr. Chang for a couple of years. This is now the 2nd time she did not put my prescription through to the pharmacy. The first time, it wasn't that big a deal to request it, even though Walgreens gives me the option for them to do the requesting for me for the refill- they always ignore the Walgreens request. This time, not only has it been two weeks since I first contacted the office to refill, they won't bother to get back to me after several calls, stating I have to speak with a medical professional, and they're never available. I called after noon, for them to tell me to call back at 2:30, but they're out of the office at 3pm. I called at the magic time and it rang, and rang, and rang. No answer, period. So today I call before 11am, ask to speak with a professional, only to be transferred to a line that rang until it hung up on me. I call back, and I get asked to be put on hold only for it to ring until it hung up again. Third time, it rings infinitely until I give up. Dr. Chang is either entirely unorganized, or is just looking for the cash grab trying to get me in the door for more co-pays for the prescription I need to avoid daily pain. Her office staff treats me like I'm a burden, and it's entirely up to me to do their job.

They never answer the phone during business hours. The front desk is rude and not knowledgeable or resourceful. There is a lack in communication between the providers and the staff. One thing is to be done and stated it would be dome but provider has to be reminded after promise date. And did I say they don't pick up the phone

Being Honest

Dr. Is okey, she did not check closely my skin problem (which important for doctors, sometime they need to feel with their fingers the bumps), but answered questions, possibilities, ordered an X-ray for my shoulder problem. Receptionist doesn’t have the perfect English, maybe this is why people feel it’s awful costumer service, the way she talks, little abrupt, maybe that people feel the negativity, but in fact, she answers, and does her job. Only my concern, for the three stars, is the nurse. I’ve been there two times and she was absolutely unhappy woman for the both times. No idea what kind of stress she has in her life, but work is work, it is no place you show your private emotions whatsoever. One smile helps the relationship with a patient. She is not the billing person but she mentioned wrong information of my billing price, which was false, so I hope she sticks to her job and be good at it. I’ll still use it, if you have an appointment, and tell them you’ll need to see the doctor at the appointed time when you walk in, it should be fine.

So I made the appointment after speaking with Dana. She not only pronounced my full name correctly, she was very nice to me on the phone. AND I was able to get a new patient appointment within a week!!
It was only after I read the reviews, I was a little skeptical. It was all for nothing. I just got home from my first appointment and I saw the PA and everyone in the office was AMAZING!
It's hard to find good doctors and staff who listen and that is why they are always so full and wait times are long.
I have been here for 3 years and this is the first office I actually LOVED.
BTW-The office has chinese, korean and hawaiian staff. IF you know anything about ANY of these cultures, the reviews make complete sense now. They can be abrupt and seem like they are rude. They aren't....it's just their demeanor and culture....I grew up in Hawaii and this felt like any Dr's office back home....
I think I have found my new doctors office!!

Im new here in Vegas.
I have read bad reviews but wanted to see first hand for myself.
I am not surprised. I went in for a check up and have to wait over an hour just to get my vitals. The clinic is run only by women and I could tell that they didn't like anything a Guy had to say. In fact next door was elder man voicing his concern for waiting longer than he needed and was responded with rude and emotion filled behavior. In California, the doctors are better even if they are ruder there, but they get the job done. DO NOT GO HERE, We need better qualified people who actually care about their patients time and well being. They were unprofessional and with this checkup Chang didn't introduce themselves and I didn't trust her. I wanted to hear what she had to say about my checkup whether or not she found anything of significance. A doctor needs to report anything she found from checking basic body functions to just Breathe or otherwise, she didn't do that. They waste time and they are too undisciplined themselves to call them doctors. All I saw and heard was attitude instead of valuable information.

This clinic is very poorly managed,going foe an appointment at your set time will end up being 2hrs or 3 hrs behind scheduled and you could even be there earlier than your appointment time and they will have the person who is 25mins late still be seen before you,when they should have that person reschedule...that clinic at their front desk does not know how to schedule or properly or have good customer service skills...and while I was waiting, this man was sleeping on someone's shoulder and the receptionist didn't do anything!!...not very professionally operated!!...very sad to see a health care establishment to not have care for the clients or structure of their appointments....I would not advice to go to this medical facility!!!!
