C est ok les prix sont respectables en general avec quelques rabais mais jamais de liquidation comme 50% off ou 70% sur des produits frais . souvent je prefere acheter a Superstore (qui est un bon concurant de Costco)ou il y a des meilleure reductions (exemple 1 produit en liquidation a 2$ au lieu de 10$ a cause de la date de péremption)

On November 19, 2024 I had my scheduled appointment at the Langley Costco Tire Centre for new tire installment. It is advertised that the installment service will take about one hour. I arrived at the tire centre at 1630hrs for my scheduled appointment and was told the shop is running behind. The staff informed me it will now be 1.5-2 hours for my new tire installment. I was annoyed, as it should not take this long to install new tires, considering the service requires an appointment scheduled ahead of time. I left Costco and came back at 1845hrs, to my surprise, to see my car in Bay 1 with no tires on. At this point, it has been over 2 hours since my scheduled appointment. I approached the tire center desk to inquire how much longer for my vehicle and I was told it would be an additional 45 minutes. At this point, I am very frustrated due to wasting my entire afternoon revolving around this simple tire installment. I attempted to complain to customer service, and I was directed to speak to “someone in a red vest”. I approached three different individuals in a “red vest”, who would continue to tell me to find someone else who is a supervisor. I became very agitated with the situation as Costco is a chaotic environment and no one was willing to hear my concerns. I finally found a supervisor who was willing to hear me, and I explained my situation and she immediately said “I’ll be right back” and left. There was no apology and no understanding. I did not feel listened to. She left to walkie talkie an employee in the tire centre, who was not responding her. Following this, an older man in a high vis vest approaches me and states he will be checking on the status of my vehicle. He leaves and returns, telling me my car will be ready in 5 minutes. He apologizes to me and offers to provide a “hot dog” or a “slice of pizza” for the huge inconvenience, stating it should “never take this long”. I found this discriminatory as I am a larger person. I did not feel a $1.50 hot dog is acceptable compensation for 3 hours of my time wasted. I spent $1,120 on these new tires. My vehicle was ready at 1930hrs, meaning it took a total of 3 hours to install 4 new tires on my 2007 Ford. After inspecting my car, I was appalled to see my rims were not wiped down after the installation. They appeared worse than when I brought in my vehicle. I have attached photos of my tire and rim after the service. I am beyond disappointed by the treatment and unprofessionalism of Langley Costco.

I went to Costco for winter tires exchange with my own tires and got rejected!

You can't believe the reasons they refused to do the service for me.

First, the technician told me the tire speed rating is 200km/h which is below the maximum speed my car (Tesla model 3) can drive which is about 225km/h according to Tesla.

Second, he also told me the tires I brought were manufactured in 2017 which is 7 years ago, and they're TOO OLD.

Due to above reasons and according to their safety policy, they cannot do the service for me.

Who the hell will drive 200km/h in winter condition?!

And you know what? It turns out the technician at Costco was looking at the WRONG number to conclude that my tires were manufactured in 2017, but actually they were manufactured in 2022!

I checked with people at Kal Tire (where I bought the tires and did tire service previously) immediately after I got rejected by Costco tire center, and they pointed me the RIGHT place to find the manufactured year. These tires are very new and in very good conditions.

I am so disappointed. What kind of service quality can you expect from them while their technician don't even know how to identify the RIGHT manufacture year?

Go to other service provider if you can.

Walk in on the technician not knowing how to put my car in park. Proceeds to yell and yank my shifter left and right multiple times very aggressively as if that’s going to throw the car in park some how. When I offer to show how to put it in park he gets mad and yells and his managers excuse is “oh sorry he’s a bit of a hot head” again as if that’s an excuse. Not only did he disrespect me and my property but there was no apology no admission of wrong doing or disrespect by the employee or manager. Decided to stay the whole time watching from the outside as they put tires on because they cannot be trusted to be alone with a car people work hard to pay for on top of the fact I paid 1900 dollars for these tires. Absolutely terrible.

Very helpful staff. I lost my wheel lock key during my tire change appointment but a technician name Rachel tried with a few options to help me to find it in my vehicle and suggested me to purchase one from a dealership closeby. She even hold another appointment for me on the same day (on a busy Friday) so I could get it tires done. It was just great to see hospitable technicians at Costco!

We had appointment at 345 today for tire swap. We arrived 10 minutes early and car went in almost immediately after paying. Service went downhill from there still waiting after 1.5 hours checked and tires still sitting at side of car no one working on it. Not impressed probably will be 2 hour wait when all said and done when should only take 1 hour. I’ve seen many tire guys walking back and forth wasting time doing nothing.

I am astounded at the lack of professional service in this department. Ordered 4 new tires after consulting with a sales person at their front desk, was given the wrong size, only discovered that after waiting two weeks for the tires and brought car in for appointment, then told tires were wrong. Then I waited half the day for the sales person to try repeatedly to get the warehouse to check for the correct tires. Also waited for them to return from lunch. Then reordered and told again it would be another 2 week wait. Went in today and got told the order is wrong again!! Something about the ratio being wrong this time! I'm stunned at the lack of knowledge at the front desk - evidently, you can't trust that you're getting someone who knows their stuff. All this after an already frustrating previous experience! Horrible service, staff not knowledgeable. Costco, don't take loyal customers for granted, I will be going somewhere else and you have now lost my entire family's business - 4 cars and 2 young sons who will not start with you when they buy their first cars, and would have been lifelong customers, as well as nieces and nephews who will be warned about poor, unreliable service at the Langley CostcoTire centre! I read the other reviews and this seems to be a common experience! Clearly, you're too big to care about the little guy....just remember, reviews count.

Tried calling the tire centre via the main line and using all the telephone prompts. No one answered the phone after ringing for SEVERAL minutes. Tried again and same result. Tried third time using different dept (appliance dept), same result. Googled the location again and tried alternative number, got the same telephone prompts. Again waited SEVERAL minutes. No results, no answer despite ringing. Currently still waiting listening to their music on the phone while waiting for someone to answer. Finally decided to call Costco "Concierge" (a number I located online using yet another Google search of Costco phone numbers). Called the number and went through the telephone prompts again and after waiting, and being on holding listening to the melodramatic "wait" music, a friendly gentleman finally answered my call. I told him the situation and explained my frustrations. He told me to wait and he would check back in a couple of minutes. He checked back and said they weren't answering and said he would merge the call. He called them while I was on the call with him and no one was answering. While I write this on January 9, 2024 at 3:49 still no answering and call goes on a loop back to the beginning menu. The friendly gentleman then advises that it is obvious no one from the tire dept is answering and the best he could suggest was for me to go in person and have my question(s) answered there. He was fine to deal with but a big WOW to Costco Langley Tire Centre for a complete and utter failure to answer your phone calls. Spent 52 minutes of my life wasted on trying to get you people to answer your phone. Good job treating your long time and loyal customers this way........ Note sarcasm. Beyond frustrated.
