Dr. Weinstein is an excellent podiatrist! He has over 30 years of experience and is very personable. He also had me in, fixed up, and out of his office in less than an hour. The receptionist is also very sweet.

I had a bunionectomy done by Dr Weinstein in December of 2018 and the recovery was a total nightmare. I was in excruciating pain and he would not take me seriously. He would only tell me none of his other patients had this much pain. He would not address my nerve pain or that I was unable to walk in the boot he gave me. I would ask about nerve pain medication or about physical therapy and he just brushed it off and said I didn't need it. I had to go back to work full time and I was unable to sleep bc of the horrendous pain I was still in at one month post op. I ended up going to a different podiatrist who put me on medications that relieved the pain so I could go to PT. The other podiatrist also said I should have been doing PT since day one. Dr Weinstein barely told me to "wiggle your toe if you want" and just to walk around in the boot (which I couldn't do) and ice and elevate. I've had several surgeries before this one and never have I experienced this type of post-op lack of care. I was also told in my consult for the surgery that it was a quick recovery and should be back doing regular activities in 3 months. I'm now at 5 months and I am barely just starting to get my bearings back with my foot and have huge limitations in my ROM of most of my toes on my operated foot. Still having a lot of bad days where I can barely walk.

My response to Dr Weinstein's response: why would I continue to let my insurance pay a doctor who is doing nothing to help me? As I stated, I was not getting any advice or anything from you, but it's really nice that you put the blame on me. I was in agony and you only had the same BS advice that you regurgitated every single time I went in. I believed you had no idea what was going on with my foot and my pain, so why would I go back to you when this is obviously beyond your limits? You would barely even respond to my pain complaints other than making me feel like I was making it up since none of your other patients complain like this.

He is prompt efficient and courteous. I initially saw him fir diabetic foot car but a few years later had injury with a fracture. He fit me in promptly and has been informative during all follow-ups. I highly recommend.

The doc parks in the space closest to the door—seems like he might save that spot for his (foot) patients, who might have mobility problems.
