Pompe qui saute a répétition, acheter en 2012 et plus aucune pieces de rechange disponible au niveau pompe moteur. Presque impossible de rejoindre le fabriquant et quand tu réussi à les rejoindre, il se foute de toi. Les fittings ne sont pas solide. Coule a répétition. Ça m a coûter une fortune a faire réparer .Je voulais encourager une compagnie canadienne mais je me suis fait avoir. Plus jamais

I originally purchased a Coast Zenith Curve Series hot tub in Oct 2015. In March of 2016 a series of cracks appeared on the exterior of the shell. The tub was replaced by the dealer, not Coast, after much discussion. Upon receiving the replacement tub, it became very obvious there were issues with the cabinet. I notified the dealer and Coast that the cabinet corners were not fitting right and that there were holes big enough for rodents to enter into the insulated areas. A new cabinet was ordered. By the time the new cabinet pieces arrived, some time had passed. When the old cabinet was removed it became obvious that there was a mouse infestation. They had tunneled through the foam leaving urine and feces everywhere. I was in utter shock by now with the quality of these tubs. Again, after much discussion, a third tub was ordered to replace the second one.

The third tub seemed okay. After two years of use, the 24 inch waterfall housing developed a leak. By now the tub was off warranty. This was a $750.00 repair on a tub that was technically only 2 years old.

Late last fall I ordered a replacement cover. Being it is a Curve Series tub, the cover is dealer specific. $1200.00. The cover arrived around March of this year. Immediately after installing, I contacted the dealer, sent pictures, showing it did not fit right. The cover was re-ordered. A few months later the replacement arrived. I brought it home , tried it, and took it back. Same issue as the first one. The cover does not follow the contour of the tub, therefore, it does not create a proper seal. Now that the weather is turning colder, (Alberta, Canada,) condensation is forming and water is dripping down the back of the tub.In a few weeks, ice will start building up and will not stop. Now we have a 6 year old $14000.00 hot tub we will have to stop using because the cover doesn't fit. I have sent emails, measurements, pictures to the dealer and all they say is Coast says it is the right cover. I have asked the dealer to come by and physically see it. I have asked the dealer to get a Coast or Core Covers representative to come take a look. No individual has shown up. Really Coast. If it is the right cover, why doesn't it fit properly?

In my opinion, if I could do this over again, I would certainly concentrate my research on after sales service at both the manufacturing and retail level. Beware of buying a hot tub that only uses dealer specific parts, like covers. Something no dealer will tell you, be prepared to spend a significant amount on parts and repairs. The costs for our 6 year old tub: Cover $1200, Waterfall replacement $750.00, Pump replacement, $ 1200.00 approximate (waiting to see if we can enjoy our tub this winter before replacing) UV Bulb $200.00, Touch Screen Control replacement, $870.00.
The chemicals and power consumption are expensive, however, I wasn't prepared for so much in parts, other than a cover.

Buckle up, friends.

I’ve waited five long years to write this barn fire of a review. And now that we’ve finally offloaded our Coast Spa—destined to be salvaged for parts—the story has reached its inevitable conclusion.

It all started when we bought a home with a lovely, infinity-edge Cascade Coast Spa. The tub was just two years old when we took possession, valued at approximately $20,000. Sounds great, right? Wrong. From day one, it was clear this tub was a lemon. Leaks. Multiple leaks. After a few months of band-aid repairs cutting through impossible spray foam, it was determined the tub needed to be craned off the property and hauled to a shop for proper repairs. Spray foam is a lovely insulator when it's dry. When it's wet? It becomes a sponge.

Naturally, the original warranty was non-transferrable, and the Coast dealer was as helpful as a chocolate teapot when it came to sharing service history. So, $3,500 later, we had a tub back in running order—after pulling three mummified rats from its innards and repairing 15 separate leaks. Delight!

Or so we thought.

A year later, the cover broke, sagging like an old mattress. It failed entirely by the three-year mark. Replacing it? No aftermarket options due to its unique size. We had to go through Coast at a cost of 2–3x the price of a regular cover. Fun!

Then came the check valve. Oh, the check valve. This "fancy-shmancy" reservoir system relies on an inaccessible valve buried in the tub’s belly. It constantly loses prime. About 80% of the time, we’d go to use the tub, only to find the check valve hadn’t released, the pump had run dry, and the system had shut itself down. “You didn’t bleed the air out” they’d say. Watch me. “Try overfilling to create back-pressure” they’d say. Sure, worth the shot! Nothing like working bleeding air from the system in a November rainstorm. No permanent resolution.

Next, the spa pack failed. Five years in, and it was toast. No worries—just another $1,000 down the drain.

Then the seat cushions disintegrated, literally crumbling into the water like a sad science experiment. I joked about it to a guy in line at the dealer—he laughed and said it happened to his too. The laughter stopped when the cashier rang up my replacement cushions at $350 for two headrests – a $70 cost on any other tub.

Not long after, two auxiliary pumps failed. A repair tech found one fixable (blown fuse), but the other was completely shot. By this point, my relationship with the tub was… strained, to say the least. We didn’t bother replacing it.

Then the waterfall valve gave up. Water sprayed everywhere. Fixing it? Too complicated and expensive, so we just let it leak. The waterfall, tied to the primary pump, ran constantly—burning energy and patience.

Finally, the side panels succumbed to the elements. After years of weather exposure, they swelled and bulged 4–5 inches per side, turning the once-sleek tub into a sad, bloated shell of its former self.

I have never had such a catastrophic experience with a five-figure asset before. The original buyer shelled out $20,000 for this disaster. Yesterday, I sold it for parts—for $1,500.

I couldn’t sell it in good conscious sell it as a functioning hot tub and still sleep at night.

And while that should make me furious, I’ve moved past anger. What’s left is sheer disappointment. Disappointed that a company could produce such a poorly designed product. Disappointed that customers are shilled into believing they’re buying quality when they’re really signing up for years of headaches.

I’m sure they don’t mean to be terrible. I’m sure they’re trying hard. But for some things in life, simple is better. 85 jets, three pumps, a custom cover, and a finicky reservoir system? It’s too much. Too many points of failure.

And believe me, we found most of them.
