This place is terrible do not waste your time gong here. I filled out all the paperwork they requested on their website. I provided my insurance information and was scheduled and appointment with one of the doctors. Showed up for my appointment and was informed they no longer accept my insurance. They had plenty of time to check my insurance information and let me know they no longer accepted it before I took time off work. They said I would have to pay $300 out of pocket to see the doctor. I really needed to get get my medicine refilled so I asked if I could be billed since I didn't get paid till this Friday. They basically laughed at me and said no. The front desk lady's were just plain rude and had no concern for my well being. You would think since all their patients are there because of mental needs they would be a bit more respectful with he way they handle them. It took everything I had to keep from doing something I would regret. This place is trash please do yourself a favor and find a doctor that actually cares enough hire descent staff. Hope I save someone from making the same mistake I made.

I've had my son attending this location for a few years due to lack of options and I will NEVER return. They have horrible front desk assistance. My last straw is when I recently scheduled my son for a 4:30 appt, arrived at 4. At 5 I was still not seen, asked for an update and was told that it will still be another hour or more until seen due to dr. being held up. I understand situations arise, especially as a Psychiatrist, BUT I would expect communication from the staff regarding this. NOTHING WAS SAID! I have 4 children total and have pickup times that I have to keep. If I was told in a timely manner that the appt was running over then I could have made accommodations for my other children but nothing was relayed. HUGE INCONVENIENCE and they care nothing about your time.

Dr. V. is one of the most kind and helpful people I know. I've been his patient for 4 or 5 years and he has helped me through many challenges. He helped me find the right diagnosis and provided the correct treatment for it. He has helped me find stability. I would highly recommend him or any of his staff!

Wanted me to go from 150mg of Zoloft to ZERO in 7 days. That’s extremely unhealthy and way too fast. I would have terrible withdrawals. Also for my first appointment I saw the doctor for MAYBE a minute otherwise I saw his nurse. Absolutely horrible place and I would never recommend.

Very satisfied with my care at Kingwood Psychiatry. I have been seeing Dr.Venkatesh and his assistants for the last few months. Communicating with the office is easy as they use patient portal and they respond quickly.

The worse experience you can have with a psychiatric. A total waste of time in this place from receptionist to the DOCTOR same that if you see him is for less than a minute who base his diagnose, according to the talk you have with assistant who really sucks. ( Always in the phone, don't even look to your eyes to see you at any point of the conversation.
