Dr. Kathryn Gard is absolutely an outstanding doctor and person in general. I would recommend her to anyone seeking an incredible OB/GYN. She is the personification of compassion and care as much as she is of knowledge and skill. Her colleagues and staff are all just as caring in their respective roles as well. I’d leave 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Gard is absolutely the best. She got me through everything- miscarriage, fertility care, pregnancy and was a complete Rockstar for delivery. My family and I are still in awe with how she just swooped in during delivery and made me have a baby! She has a kind, open minded and optimistic demeanor and her care is always rooted in up to date medical knowledge. I would repeatedly trust her with my life. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

I can't say enough about Dr. Gard and what a caring doctor she is. She has been nothing but kind, professional and empathetic. She never makes me feel rushed and answers all of my questions thoroughly. Almost all of my friends in the area go to her, and I will recommend her to anyone who is not already under her care.

Where do I begin... Dr. Gard is absolutely incredible!!! Hands down - best OB I have ever seen & will ever see in my life! If you are looking for the perfect OB experience, look no further!! She's amazing. She is so knowledgeable, skilled, relatable, kind, & honest - she just gets you and makes sure you have the best possible experience you can. She knows what she is doing! I tend to get nervous while seeing Doctors and exams through the pregnancy process - and she put me at such ease... making me smile, laugh and feel so comfortable at every visit. I cannot thank you enough for such a lovely experience. Got me thinking maybe I want another child based on how incredible this whole pregnancy/ birth was!! LOVE HER!!

Dr Gard was my absolute rock during a crazy first pregnancy. I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks, and going into the pregnancy I have a blood disorder that requires me to get monthly blood transfusions. around 4 months my labs kept testing positive for toxoplasmosis. I was referred to MFM and Infectious disease until eventually it was determined I did not have toxo. I needed more frequent transfusions and found myself at the OB triage ER a few times to either get blood or check that my baby was responsive. Dr gard came and visited me to ensure I was okay. MFM suggested induction and Dr gard expressed her concerns on a possible failed induction on a patient like me; the trauma of potentially needing an emergency c section would be a lot. She told me it was MY choice and I chose c section. Baby ended up breech anyway. 38 weeks had my baby who had meconium and needed NICU. Flawless easy c section procedure (minus the pain). She is a great caring provider who really listened to my concerns. She expressed her opinion but allowed me to maintain patient autonomy and was supportive in every step of the way. Highly recommend.

Dr. Gard is AMAZING! The office is always busy with patients walking in to see Dr. Gard (so that’s saying something). And when I first moved to Sarasota, I was referred to her by several people. I ended up choosing her and I couldn’t be happier with my experience throughout my pregnancy and my delivery!! She is always patient, personable, knowledgeable, and always made me feel incredibly comfortable. I can’t imagine my delivery without her support. Thanks Dr Gard!

Dr. Gard is amazing! I struggled my first pregnancy with pcos, depression during pregnancy, post partum depression, and preeclampsia under a different doctor. 11 years later when I became pregnant again, I was referred to her by a former patient. She was wonderful! She listened and cared. I ended up having preeclampsia again and she immediately acted, and made sure I had my son safely at 37 weeks. After I had a healthy baby boy, post partum set in again and she treated me asap. She is truly a wonderful doctor and person!
