0stars Back in 2015 Dr. Avants told me to take a medication that was safe during pregnancy. About a week later I had spotting & I found out during an ultrasound that my baby had passed and I was carrying my baby that had passed.Coincidence? Wish I was more knowledgeable, advocated for myself the way I would have today & said no to that medicine that I was weary about said no to a D & C or atleast Wish I knew I had rights to bury my child. I've asked for records and no return phone call from office or Loma Linda Surgical center. Please inform yourself always and be your own advocate for your health. Almost 9 years later and now just realizing that I haven't fully mourned and just now informed of my then rights. Jesus loves you be well

A genuine thank you to Dr. Avants and her entire office. I came to Dr. Avants for my second pregnancy and she was truly the best from beginning to the very end for me. My first pregnancy was beautiful but unfortunately resulted in a very traumatic negligent labor and birth. So my second time around I knew I needed someone who I could trust to take care of me and my baby. She did that plus more. I walked into her office nervous, uneasy, and not sure what to expect. She took all of those feelings away instantly and took amazing care of me my entire pregnancy/birth. I would highly recommend Dr. Avants and her office to any momma out there looking to be in great hands.
They are on top of their stuff and very organized. Katie who works the front office and Rayleen who took care of me during all my appointments were the sweetest. I appreciate you ladies for always making my calls/visits/ questions positive. My baby girl is here healthy and I am healthy, I can't ask for much more.

I absolutely loved Dr Avants staff friendly I needed up having emergency C- section and she did a beautiful job would never be able to tell I even had one plan to come back to her to deliver rest of my kids

Dr. Avants has been absolutely amazing. She takes the time to explain things and answers all of my questions. I had some complications, and I felt fully confident with Dr. Avants' care. She delivered my third baby and I will only use her moving forward with additional pregnancies. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Avants is the best OB/GYN doctor I have ever been to. She got me through two high risk pregnancies and a hysterectomy. She also took excellent care of me after I delayed going to the hospital for what turned out to be a ruptured appendix. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital being treated for the infection from the ruptured appendix and another week of recovery. Dr. Avants could've passed me along to another doctor to handle it but she took care of me and made her rounds at the hospital to make sure I was being taken care of to her standards. She even completed the surgery to remove my appendix.

For those complaining about a long wait, please remember that Dr. Avants delivers babies and often has to check on patients for labor updates or run to the hospital while still handling her scheduled appointments. Babies show up at all hours and I was thankful to have my own doctor come to the hospital to deliver mine instead of the doctor on duty. I think she's pretty amazing and I'm forever grateful for her attentiveness. I was on bed rest at 5 months with both of my pregnancies for early labor and I honestly don't think I would've carried full-term if I didn't have Dr. Avants taking extra precautions and monitoring me so closely. She knows what she's doing and from my experience she goes above and beyond, providing excellent care.

Dr Avants has delivered all 3 of my babies. I had difficult pregnancies and I knew I was in amazing hands! She usually is late for her appointments but that is because she cares about each patient and wants to take great care of each of us.

I love Dr. Avants! She delivered both of my boys and I had such a great birthing experiences. I didn't have to have an episiotomy or didn't tear at all with either deliveries, which I firmly believe was all because of her manually massaging me, making sure lady parts were as ready as can be for birth. She always made me feel comfortable & she genuinely cares about her patients well being. You do have to wait, but that's because she's always so busy with deliveries, surgeries and her other patients. I'm so sad I have moved out of state so I won't be able to see her anymore but she is highly recommended by me & many of my family members. She is, hands down, the best OB in the inland empire!

Dr. Avants is the best doctor that I have ever had. She is attentive, caring and delivered my two children. When I lost one in between my two she called me on Thanksgiving Day to just check on me and see how I was doing. She is the most devoted doctor that you will ever fiin and I was her first patient in her Loma Linda practice almost 23 yrs ago. She has performed a few surgical procedures on me that where absolutely wonderful outcomes. Best doctor hands down! And those who give bad reviews for long wait times need to realize that appointments go longer than expected and that's because Dr. Avants will not compromise quantity for quality care . Remeber that!!
